Essential Duties:

• Responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations and end points.
• Provide administration support for software package development and configuration management and will research and evaluate software and hardware technologies.
• Responsible for the configuration of systems’ security settings in accordance with established IT security standards, protocols, and policies.
• Responsible for writing and maintaining procedural and design documentation. Analyze, optimize, and integrate applications and services.

• Provide Tier III support with in-depth knowledge of desktop/application troubleshooting.
• Leads research and develop new technology, tools and scripts to support desktop computing and the end user desktop experience.
• The candidate must possess demonstrable skills in a variety of technical areas
• Must be able to implement, integrate, maintain, document and troubleshoot IT systems in a highly diversely project environment.
• This position is a hands-on IT position with explicit focus on installing and configuring hardware, software and will work as part of an on-site project team.
• Proficient with various software platforms and operating systems including but not limited to Microsoft Windows (thru version 11), WSUS, MECM, and Tanium endpoint management.

Minimum Experience, Education and Certification:

• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Five (5) or more years’ experience with various technology support or IT environment
• Established analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting aptitude

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with end-users, Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Work Environment:

Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead waist level from floor), bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use; frequently fast paced environment.
