Job DescriptionCompany Description
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent marine engine manufacturer in Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, is seeking machine operators to join their team! This facility is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and vacation!
Machine Operator Job Summary:
$15.00 per hour
- 1st shift (7:00am- 3:30pm with overtime when scheduled) Work 40 hours/get a $40.00 bonus on pay check
- Machine Operators are responsible for setting up and operating manual equipment (lathe, milling machines, and/tap machines)
- Brings, loads and runs raw parts. Checks finished parts for tolerances, maintain coolant and lubrication levels on machines.
- Transfers finished parts to production area, stack finished parts and transfer to production area
- Machine Operator- Pressure checking parts in a fixture along with being transferred to different departments in the shop to help.
- Be able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Clean and maintain work areas
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Diploma or GED Required
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, stand/walk for long periods of times
- Steel toe boots
- Background Check- clear
- Drug Screening
