Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.

Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.

Director of Maintenance & EVS

Pay Range: $32.54 - $48.81 per hour

Full Time: M-F with occasional on-call shifts to cover nights and weekends

Windom Area Health is seeking a highly organized individual to join our team as the Director of Maintenance and Environmental Services (EVS), which plays a critical role in overseeing our physical plant. Key responsibilities will be to provide project management to both large and small construction projects, ensure proper maintenance on HVAC equipment, complete and maintain records to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and life safety codes, ensure the cleanliness of both facility and grounds, provide leadership to maintenance and EVS staff, and manage the organization emergency preparedness program. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field plus 3-5 years’ experience in large facility maintenance is required. 3+ years in a supervisory role is required. Construction or project management experience is a plus. Must have Chief C or 1st class C boilers license (must upgrade to Chief within 6 months of hire). No scheduled call shifts, but may help cover call overnight and on weekends if department coverage requires.
