POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing leadership and direction on shift for Safety, Quality, Production, and Warehouse activities for the facility. Ensuring that the operations plan developed by the plant leaders is executed on shift. Team members are held accountable and given the support they need to be successful.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute the operational plan developed for the site daily. Ensuring a priority list is followed.

• Lead and direct employees and teams throughout the organization to meet expected levels of performance.

• Provide coaching as needed to team members to improve performance.

• Ensure our safety policies and procedures are followed and our team members are safe.

• Ensure our quality policies and procedures are followed.

• Support capacity planning, scheduling and material control requirements critical to the success of the Manufacturing environment.

• Contribute to plant management as a member of plant leadership team; includes such actions as direction setting for plant programs, translation of division and corporate initiatives to plan programs,

• Performs other assigned duties as required

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• BS Degree or 3-5 Supervisory experience

• Manufacturing experience required. Plastics experience a plus.

• Basic knowledge of KPI/Metrics reporting.

• Basic knowledge of labor, environmental, safety regulation requirements

• Basic knowledge of Quality Systems-ISO, SPM or BRC

• Basic understanding of process specifications and FFU

• Excellent interpersonal skills required as well as the ability to work with all levels of employees.

• Analytical/ Problem-solving skills

• Flexibility/ Openness to change and diversity
