E-Commerce Processor

JOB SUMMARY:

Our eCommerce operation is divided into multiple departments.

We are currently seeking team members with a specific passion, and knowledge for 1 or more of the following:

*Jewelry, Instruments, Artwork, Books, Comics, Vintage Records, Electronics or Collectibles and/or are familiar with designer fashion brands

This position will be responsible for identifying items by specific category and prepares them for listing on our Ecommerce website, Shopgoodwill.com/md

Sorts, evaluates, selects and prepares donations for E-Commerce site, maintains accuracy and efficiency while achieving goals provided by supervisor. Assists customers while providing exceptional customer service. Employment is contingent on criminal background check

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sorts through unique items and products with the ability to identify specific items, designers and maker’s marks through use of web-based research and collaboration.
  • Authenticate, evaluate, research, and prepare a variety of items for online listings by creating accurate brief product descriptions.
  • Meets or exceeds daily production goals.
  • Maintains compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Promotes the mission and values of Goodwill.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous online business experience and/or product knowledge required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
.Medium - Lifting up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. May be required to regularly stand for extended periods of time, walk, reach with hands/arms with full range of motion, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, push or pull. Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to use hands and fingers to hold, handle and feel objects, knobs, keys and/or buttons.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate.
