The Job

Our financial services innovation practice is looking for Full Stack Engineers for a project with a large fortune 50 customer in Reston, VA

As a full stack software engineer, you will contribute to a wide variety of projects, from building scalable systems to support new product features, decomposing legacy application into microservices that can work in concert to help our customers, to launching new experiences on both desktop and mobile web.

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.

Requirements

Your typical day

(Stuff you will typically do … your responsibilities)

  • Design and develop web applications using Spring Boot, Angular and related tools and technologies
  • Develop unit, integration and automated functional tests for in Java and Angular
  • Participate in Scrum team activities
  • Deploy code on AWS and integrate with cloud services

The Requirements

(Stuff you MUST HAVE…)

  • 2+ years of software development experience with Java
  • 1+ years of experience with Spring (Boot, MVC, Data, Security, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience with Angular (Angular or Angular JS)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

The Differentiators

  • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins/Git
  • Knowledge of DevOps methods and CI/CD automation practices
  • Experience crafting high throughput applications on AWS
  • One or more AWS certifications
  • Recent financial services cloud experience
