Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs
- Assess the project requirements, including design and equipment
- Install cables in commercial, retail, and industrial spaces
- Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment
- Troubleshoot cable and network problems
- Educate customers on basic operating instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Cable Installer, low-voltage technician, or related experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical equipment and systems but not required.
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces
