Home Goods Product Sourcing, Inventory & Fulfillment Manager 

Status: Full-time: Onsite

Location: Washington, DC 

(Hybrid remote available for the most highly qualified candidates)

Responsibilities:

Sourcing

• Source Oneg products domestically and overseas, negotiate product contracts with vendors, and create and manage the attendant materials including specs sheets and purchase agreements.

• Effectively managing the full lifecycle of a product from design and development, to timely delivery to the warehouse.
• Manage existing, and identifying new, reliable, quality vendors who deliver quality products is critical to success.
• Delivery channels include direct to consumer, B2B, and corporate partnerships. 

Inventory Management

• Implement and manage processes and procedures based on advances in technology to support inventory and fulfillment. 

• Oversee the fulfillment team as relates to Inventory Management 

Product Fulfillment

• Create and deliver specifications sheets and purchase orders for each product to vendors.

• Careful tracking and attention to timely order placement and delivery schedules to ensure product is available for orders. 

• Oversee the fulfillment of orders onsite while ensuring that physical and digital inventory is kept up to date in real time. On-going optimization of shipping processes and procedures.

Supervise and Collaborate

• Manage, communicate, and collaborate closely with Oneg's part-time Fulfillment team.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with Oneg's Marketing team and Oneg’s Design team to ensure all dependencies needed to create products are coordinated and completed between departments ensuring overall delivery dates are met.

Shopify and Product Tracking  

• Maintain Oneg’s product tracking systems (Shopify).  
• Responsible for working with fulfillment support to make sure Shopify sales and customer inputs are accurate and properly categorized, including discount codes, influencer boxes, friends and family sales, etc.  

We are looking for a new team member with the following qualifications

• • Has an expertise in product sourcing, procurement, and vendor management (especially from China).
  • Can bring vetted vendor relationships to the table.
  • Is highly experienced in Shopify.
  • Has experience with Google Workspace.
  • Is creative, but defaults to being action-oriented, seeking to problem solve and provide solutions.
  • Is a self-starter who works well under pressure in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision to meet deadlines - which is the bedrock of an eCommerce operation.
  • Has high standards, high level verbal and written communications skills, and exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Is excited by the idea of helping to scale a business and work in the “all hands on deck” approach of a startup when necessary.
  • Can deliver to deadlines, knows how to pivot and prioritize as needed, and is by nature able to manage multiple products simultaneously.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s degree or business degree preferred
• Proven e-commerce success 
• Minimum 5 years experience in a product sourcing and product development role
