Pay: $70000 - $85000 / year

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving private event sales growth and revenue, by developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering relationships with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business
  • Conduct site visits with potential clients to showcase event spaces and services
  • Negotiate and finalize event contracts with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and provide regular updates to management
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and drive sales

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience in the hospitality or event industry, in a high-volume environment
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience in managing events of varying sizes and complexity
  • Delphi software experience is a plus
