The Role:
As a part-time Children's Program Specialist at Odin Wise Academy, you will be responsible for conducting educational programs and activities at various locations in the northern VA area, including day care centers and libraries. Your role involves leading classes in subjects such as Math, Science, Arts, and Language for elementary-aged children, ranging from Kindergarten to Elementary School.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and interactive after-school classes using our curriculum, including diverse subjects such as LEGO Robotics, Hand Painting, Potions and Explosions, and Fashion Design.
  • Present fun and hands-on experiments and activities to foster learning.
  • Manage and organize class materials, ensuring a smooth and efficient program delivery.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different age groups and learning styles.
  • Provide excellent communication and support to children during classes.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational or recreational capacity.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to fostering creativity and critical thinking in young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and engage children of various age groups.
  • Reliable personal transportation is a must.
  • Must possess a valid work permit.
