Job Description
An apprentice is an individual that is starting in the field of HVAC, Refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment repairs. This individual must show growth within six months to one year before moving on to junior technician status. The Apprentice will be evaluated every three months and rotate between technicians to ensure diverse training. The Apprentice will learn the basics of HVAC, refrigeration, gas, steam and electric while training under an experienced technician.
Requirements:
· Must be able to follow company policy, procedures and technical direction
· Must possess a valid driver's license
· Must have basic hand tools
· Must be able to learn skilled techniques with hand tools and understand basic electrical
· Will be responsible for meeting the technician onsite everyday
· Will need to be punctual everyday
· Will need to be able to lift 50-70 lbs.
· Ability to follow instructions from the technicians
· Obtain any required fire watch & burn permits within 6 months of hire
