Culture

  • Priorities in life. Priority in design. It all started with the name. Our founders created a company that encourages staff to prioritize what they value - a good work/life balance and a people first environment.

  • Building our reputation by helping others build theirs. PD is full of people who love what they do, who they work with, and who genuinely enjoy helping our clients do great work.
  • Humility wins. Big egos don't impress us. Big ideas do. Our company was founded by people who share a passion for design - and a distaste for office politics. We always encourage putting egos aside and embracing humility.
  • Seeking long term relationships. Over the years we've grown steadily, hired carefully, and nurtured long-term relationships with both clients and employees. When we hire, we often conduct interviews as a group because we want to make sure everyone will work well together. The result is great teamwork, motivated employees, and consistently excellent work for our clients.
  • Maker's paradise. PD is full of people who like to get their hands dirty and hone their craft. Half of our 50,000 square foot facility is dedicated to labs: Rapid Prototyping Lab, Fabrication Lab, Soft Goods Lab, and Photo Studio. Most things we need to do, we can do under our own roof.
