Description of Duties:
- Fabricate, assemble, and process mechanical parts as required to meet specs.
- Assist in the development of diagnostic and work-use tooling for repair.
- Perform in-process inspections as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with Mazak lathes and/or HAAS mills is preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM is preferred.
- Good understanding of the fundamentals of machining and milling work.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on an individual basis in the machining process.
- Understanding of manual and conversational-run lathes.
- Understanding of manual and conversational-run tool room mills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and read blueprints.
- Ability to inspect machined components to specification requirements using precision measurement instruments.
