Job Title: MRB Specialists
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: ESS Energy
Reports To: Lead/Supervisor Location: BYD Energy, Lancaster, CA
Summary: MRB Specialist are the communicative link of production to material control, warehouse and purchasing and logistics departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
1.Collect information for material request and obtain required signatures
2.Verify the BOM (bill of material) and warehouse kits are correct
3.Directs warehouse staff to expedite transfers of materials from stock area to production area
4.Examines materials received
5.Verifies part numbers and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts
6.Track material shortages from production and follow process using BOM and other production materials required
7.Track ETA of parts using the inventory log and productions schedules, and/or by verifying with material control and purchasing
8.Identify critical missing parts daily using proper documentation and communicate to material controls group
9.Categorize and following up with leads to make sure correct material is being released per build schedule
10.Assist department managers in managing and controlling material in overall department and communicate status with department supervisor(s)
11.Synthesizes complex or diverse information
12.Balances team and individual responsibilities
13.Upholds organizational values
14.Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
15.Prioritizes and plans work activities
16.Proper use of PPE and observes safety and security procedures
17.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
