Job Description

The Technology Integration Director will be responsible for the overall management of the Technology department for Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) office and its performance venue, the Frederick P. Rose Hall. This position will oversee all aspects of Technology operations, including network infrastructure, security, applications, and support services. It will also play a key role in developing and implementing Technology strategies that align with the overall goals and challenges of the organization.

This position will report to the CHRO and will also communicate with the Managing and Artistic Director and Executive Director to maintain an understanding of future technology needs that might arise from JALC’s strategic and operating priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term Technology strategies that align with the overall JALC goals and needs.
  • Assess current technology applications and data infrastructure and identify strengths to build upon, shortcomings and gaps, informed by JALC’s physical architecture and use of cloud-based solutions.
  • Recommend strategies for training and adoption of new technologies and support their implementation in partnership with organizational change efforts.
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of all the Technology projects.
  • Directly and indirectly manage Technology professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of all Technology systems and networks.
  • Implement and enforce Technology policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that ongoing vigilance, staff training, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity is in place, and maintain best practice around privacy process support.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate Technology risks.
  • Liaise with JALC senior leadership and JALC’s internal Innovation Council to identify and incubator projects.
  • Work with analytics team to create technology platform metrics and dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology management.
  • Experience in supervising individual and teams
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security, applications, and support services.
  • Experience with the full array of JALC’s third party systems is ideal (which at present, include Ungerboeck, ADP -Workforce Now and Netsuite).
  • Expertise in Tessitura, and how that platform integrates with other current and future JALC third party systems.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing Technology strategies.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-department, multi-year projects on time and on budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

This position will be on-site 5 days a week.
