LPN - Lead Nurse

As the LPN Nurse Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and support to our nursing staff during the evening hours. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise nursing staff during then night shift, ensuring that care is delivered with compassion, professionalism, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other team members to develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents.
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform treatments as needed, maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.
• Act as a resource for staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to promote continuous professional development.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in the state of Indiana.
• Proven experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting, with a strong understanding of geriatric nursing principles.
• Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential, with a commitment to excellence in care delivery and staff development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
