Customer Care Agent

A Customer Care Agent in our Service call center executes many of the business development strategies and best practices for the dealership. They serve as a communication hub for the dealership, handling phone, email, and text communication, shaping the customer experience, motivating customers to visit the dealership service department, and driving the customer retention.

Customer Care Agents are a key part of our company's vision, "to be so effective that we are able to be helpful to others" by giving service information and helping set appointments for our guests over the web or phone.

Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with sales appointments
  • Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, phone and live chat scripts and templates
  • Provide customers with initial product information & direct them to the appropriate dealership resources
  • Present initial financing options based on customer needs
  • Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show
  • Participate in team & process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales/service teams and dealership management
  • Utilize CRM tracking system daily

Essential Job Requirements

  • Self-motivation, a desire to succeed, and a positive attitude.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong email and phone presence is necessary
  • Ability to handle heavy phone contact (80-100 calls per day)
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple software applications.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers through phone, social media, email and text messages in a professional manner.
