UX/UI Designer

We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer with expertise in the Front-End development, WordPress, and React Native to join our digital web team. We are currently moving everything away from Duda. You will be a natural at understanding human-computer interaction design (HCID), in coming up with elegant solutions to improve and develop new websites and mobile applications.

To be successful as a UX/UI Designer, the candidate needs to be a proven innovator who executes those ideas and demonstrates a passion for web design. Outstanding candidates are deadline-driven self-starters with superb communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to demonstrate design concepts for web and mobile applications.
• Design user interface elements such as buttons, menus, and navigation bars.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve user experience.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
• Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Ensure the design meets accessibility and usability standards.
• Ensure that the designs are optimized for various devices and platforms.
• Work with content creators to ensure consistent visual language and messaging across the sites and mobile applications.
• Contribute to the design of marketing materials such as email campaigns and landing pages.

**This position is required to be onsite at our New Albany, Ohio headquarters.** 

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio of work.
• 2+ years’ experience in front end development.
• Proficient in WordPress and React Native.
• Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with wireframe/prototype tools such as Balsamiq or Sketch.
• Experience with UX Design tools such as Figma, Axure, or InVision.
• Experience with email campaign software such as MailChimp.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
