Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our local market for a Wealth Management Operations Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational duties of the firm. The Operations Administrator helps keep the office running smoothly and ensures that all client paperwork and processing is handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This position will assist with portfolio management, client communications, and client wealth management meetings.
A typical day may include the following:
- Greet clients and prospective clients in a professional, friendly and sincere manner making them feel comfortable when they visit the office. Handles incoming calls also in a friendly, professional, sincere manner.
- Processes new accounts, account transfers, new contributions and redemptions and beneficiary changes. checks accuracy of documents and makes the necessary revisions.
- Creates client meeting reviews and schedules appointments.
- Sends periodic client correspondence.
- Performs office coordination and administrative functions to keep the office productivity at maximum level. Keeps Wealth Advisor informed of weekly meeting agenda items.
- Handles calendars for Wealth Advisor(s) in the office.
- Develops and maintains written systems of all activities.
- Initially observes experienced licensed investment advisors to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
- Receives training and assistance with the goal of developing, servicing, and delivering financial planning to clients. Will provide assistance with annual client reviews related to insurance, retirement, and estate planning.
- Attends sales and trade meetings to develop new business prospects.
- This position requires travel to outside offices at times to meet with management and staff, however on-site presence is also necessary for regular, successful performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Appropriate licensure including Series 7, Series 63 and 65 (or 66 if not both 63 and 65) and insurance license is preferred.
- If not licensed, the licensing process will begin approximately 6 months after hire.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous investment knowledge and experience is preferred.
- Must possess stellar communication, sales and public relations skills, as well as interviewing and research skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and have the ability to handle multiple tasks within tight time frames.
