Job Summary:

Raines Co. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring impeccable food quality, safety, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director, you will lead a team of culinary professionals and contribute to menu planning, staff development, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
  • Maintain inventory levels, monitor food costs, and optimize inventory management practices
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among kitchen staff
  • Handle customer inquiries and special requests related to food preparation
  • Assist with special events as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
