Job Summary:

  • Primary responsibility is functional testing (75%) associated with our Pensions Application; however, there will be situations where this role needs to create automated tests (25%) that align with existing frameworks (i.e., Performance, 508 Compliance, Security, Unit Testing)
  • Support Quality Control activities under the guidance provided by management.
  • Assists in designing, modifying, and creating QA processes that will be used to implement the business transformation solutions. This is done through research, fact-finding, and understanding applicable QA best practices, processes, methodologies, systems, and industry requirements.
  • Requires expert knowledge of Quality Assurance and Testing methodologies and tools.
  • Generate documentation, compile reports, and report on findings to Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement the test methodology according to the test policy and standard.
  • Define test criteria for different test scenarios.
  • Develop test plans and test cases and prepare test data.
  • Conduct testing and report to the Manager, Quality Assurance.
  • Tests the integrity of scripts; analyzes, monitors, and documents results.
  • Implement test policy and execute security tests for different online projects and generate related reports using the Security Testing Tool
  • Develop and execute automated testing scripts.
  • Complete administration and track issues/defects using QA Tools.
  • Prepare test reports as per specification and demand from users.
  • Familiarity with testing framework implementation and performance testing.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of QA experience.
  • Exposure to software development life cycle.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Quality Assurance Certification/Designation is nice to have.
  • Working knowledge of web technology using PL/SQL is nice to have.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in Testing and QA Tools (Selenium, Silk4J, Java, Python, HCL AppScan, AxeTools, or JMeter)
  • Grasp of scripting and programming languages.
  • Able to prioritize work, meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • High integrity and commitment to quality.
