PRN Surgical Technologist

Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center is a full service ambulatory outpatient facility, providing cost-effective outpatient services using modern, state-of-the-art technology in a friendly and caring environment by highly-skilled, compassionate staff. Our facility is located on the campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, VA. We are seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to scrub under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

HOURS: PRN, day shift

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of our surgical team, you will prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, equipment and rooms for surgical procedures, recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate corrective and/or preventive measures, and perform other related duties as a key member of the team supporting the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an appropriate Surgical Technician program or previous technician experience of at least two years. Will consider 1 year experience with strong orthopedic background
• Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of OR experience in hospital or ambulatory surgery center environment with experience in General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Ortho, GI, Urology and Podiatry.
• Surgical Tech certification preferred
• BLS required
