Seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to work alongside Staff Engineers and Senior Designers in the design and production of Process-Mechanical piping, layout and equipment contract documents/drawings for various water and wastewater projects.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Prepare plan, section and detail drawings for various process, piping, and chemical systems
- Coordinate with the other disciplines (structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, I&C, site civil)
- Ensure drawing compliance with company and client CAD/BIM standards and styles
- Creation of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD based files for use in the production of contract documents.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Revit knowledge and skills required
- Some 2D AutoCAD MEP skills desired.
- Hardworking, focused and willingness to learn important
- Completion of technical school CAD design certificate with emphasis on Revit,
- Engineering Technology Associate’s degree, or a 4-year degree
- Some design experience with water and/or wastewater projects helpful
- Basic understanding of process and chemical piping materials and fittings desired
