JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION TITLE: Slot Technician JOB CODE: # 111120
DEPARTMENT: Slots
DIVISION: Casino Operations
REPORTS TO: Slot Technical Services Manager
Must be able to obtain VI Gaming License.
POSITION SUMMARY: Ensure that all equipment in department functions properly and effectively and take corrective action when necessary.
TASKS:
- Ensure preventive maintenance instructions are instituted and performed for all equipment on a timely basis.
- Maintain security and guest satisfaction in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Other tasks as requested by management.
EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have slot machine experience or professional electronic, military electronic and/or college electronics education. Prior knowledge of electro-mechanical devices, video repair and computer skills a plus.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Required to buddy lift 300 lbs at least 25 inches above the floor and maintain stressful postures for long periods of time.
HAZARDS:
May be exposed to electrical shocks. Finger and manual dexterity, motor coordination, color discrimination and depth perception.
