Summer Camp Instructor (Part-time) - Summer Camp - Oakton, VA

AlphaBEST Education, a leading provider of after-school and summer programs, will be offering summer camps in the Oakton, VA area.

At AlphaBest, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll help lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.

Location: Flint Hill Lower School - 10409 Academic Drive, Oakton, VA 22124

Training date starts May 29-2024

Schedule: 6/10--8/16 (10 weeks)

Camp Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Work hours 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm)

Pay & Benefits:

• $20.00 per hour
• Fun and friendships come with the paycheck

• As a Summer Instructor, you'll be trained to do the following:

  • Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
  • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
  • Facilitate the summer curriculum that is provided
  • Have fun!

What you will need:

• Experience leading a group of children in a structured or classroom setting
• Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, & Medication Administration (if you do not have these, we will provide training for you)
• Ability to communicate with both children and adults
• Reliability & Flexibility
• High School or GED Diploma
