Position Overview

 

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is looking for an entry-level Regulatory Technician to join our team. This position serves as a liaison between federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and clients for permit procurement. The ideal candidate will have minimum qualifications of a B.A./B.S. in environmental planning, science or policy and/or a basic knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to 401/404 Clean Water Act and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act; knowledge of AutoCAD®, local land development practices and goals, NEPA, FEMA or FERC regulations is a plus. Superior oral and written communications skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines under limited supervision are a must.  Willingness to attend in-person training, meetings and networking/business development events is expected.
