Under general supervision, this position involves providing leadership and training to technicians for the installation, repair, and testing of voice, data, and audio-visual infrastructures. Regular communication with customers, the cabling group manager, or cabling supervisor is essential to stay informed of changes in work tasks and deadlines. Interacting with clients, contractors, and vendors on the job site, the incumbent creates a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Provide leadership and training to technicians assigned to install, repair, and test voice, data, and audio-visual infrastructures.


Regularly communicate with customers, the cabling group manager, or cabling supervisor to stay informed of changes in work tasks and deadlines.


Interact with clients, contractors, and vendors on the job site, creating a positive work environment.


Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.


Maintain a safe work environment for all crew members, adhering to the company's commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace.


Update customer prints and documentation as required.


Complete work orders, material transfer forms, and other documentation required by the company.


Pursue ongoing education through corporate or specialty courses.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum of 10 years of related/relevant experience, which can be a combination of work history and education (Doctorate with 0 years, Masters with 4 years, Bachelor’s with 6 years, Associates with 8 years, or High School with 10 years).


Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements.


Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI, with CI Poly.


Ability to work independently or with other cabling service technicians performing service calls, completing adds, moves, and changes.


Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Visio, and Word.
