Elevate guest experiences as an Event Bartender at Apex Entertainment. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering exceptional service by mixing and serving beverages to banquet guests with precision, all while maintaining a friendly and efficient demeanor. Effective communication is key, as you'll adapt to changing plans and ensure guests' questions are answered. Your attentive service, combined with your engaging personality and strong listening skills, will contribute to an unforgettable time at Apex. As an integral member of the team, you'll collaborate with fellow team members, servers, and culinary staff to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation and Service:

• Attend pre-event and departmental meetings to enhance communication and product knowledge.
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipes and portion control standards.
• Present and serve beverages to guests.
• Verify guests' identification and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations.
• Accurately process payments using the point-of-sale system, handling money, cards, and vouchers.
• Maintain a well-stocked bar with beverages, condiments, and supplies.
• Ensure product quality of all beverage-related items.

Exceptional Guest Interaction:

• Interact with guests professionally and courteously.
• Respond effectively to inebriated guests.

Event Support:

• Collaborate with team members, servers, and culinary staff to ensure a seamless event experience.
• Assist in setting up/breaking down banquet tables and event spaces.

Gratitude and Clean-Up:

• Express appreciation to guests for choosing Apex Entertainment.
• Assist in breaking down and resetting event spaces for subsequent occasions.

Additional Tasks:

• Fulfill any other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements:

• TIPS Training is REQUIRED.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance, and strong customer service abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, ice machines, and dishwashers.
• Physical ability to lift trays, dish racks, glass racks, and rotate beer kegs (up to 20-100lbs).
• Capability to move in narrow spaces and interact effectively with seated guests.
• Stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Demonstrated ability to handle various customer service scenarios, including challenging situations.
• Experience in the food & beverage, hospitality, or events industry is a plus.
