Document Control Specialist (Intern, Part-Time)

AbelZeta is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel cancer immunotherapy products. AbelZeta operates a state-of-the-art facility in Rockville, Maryland with five GMP rooms in order to augment its global research and development capabilities and to support clinical development of multiple cell therapy platform technologies in the US. We are seeking a collaborative and highly motivated Document Control Specialist (Intern, Part-Time) in Rockville, Maryland. The candidate will be involved in the categorization/indexing, general organization and establishment of archive documents. The candidate will also scan documents to either shared drive or quality management system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for the indexing of documents currently in the document control room.
• Responsible for physical organization of documents in the document control room.
• Responsible for scanning documents to a shared drive location or to a quality management system.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Able to work in our Rockville, MD office for 1-2 hours a day, 3-5 days a week
• Strong communication and coordination skills, good language skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems with a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and collaborators.
