Machine Operator

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent carpet manufacturer in Glasgow, Virginia is seeking Machine Operators to join their team! They are offering a wide range of perks such as benefits, 401K, vacation and profit sharing!

Machine Operator- Job Summary:

· $15.98 per hour + shift diff

· 3rd shift (11:00pm -7:00am) shift diff of $1.00

· Machine Operator will take yarn from containers to creel department. Supplies tufting creels with cones of yarn for lot changes, strips yarn from creel/removes empty cones from pegs

· Identifies yarn/places identification in cargotainer/plattetainer/box. Patrols creel/checks for and repairs ends out.

· Machine Operator will clean and maintain creels in a clean/orderly condition

· Machine Operator will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Machine Operator Qualifications:

· Must be 18 years or older

· Be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods of time

· Background check

· Drug Screen
