Job Description
Coyle Automotive strives to provide premium service from initial client contact to completion of repair or service.
As Coyle Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by serving as the liaison between customers and our technicians.
All candidates are required to be "customer-service minded" and have a good work history. Being a team player and understanding the customer is why our business can flourish.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and welcome customers, establishing a positive and professional rapport.
- Answer customer calls using the customer service skills taught in our required phone training program.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the repair process.
- Clearly communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Document and convey customer concerns and vehicle symptoms to the technical team.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines.
- Coordinate with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Keep customers informed of the progress and any changes to the repair plan.
- Explain technical details clearly and understandably to customers.
- Provide information on preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and vehicle services.
- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a service advisor in an automotive repair setting is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and invoicing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excels in a team-oriented work environment.
