Seeking Family Law Associate --Competitive Salary & Work-Life Balance

This position is ideal for the experienced family law trial attorney desiring, a work-life balance, a competitive compensation plan, a healthy workplace environment, and opportunities to grow professionally, financially, and personally.

Compensation:

$140,000 - $145,000 annually

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage on average 40-45 cases
  • Drafting and reviewing Petitions, Pleadings and Motions
  • Taking and Defending Depositions
  • Negotiating and Drafting Settlement Offers
  • Preparing Witnesses For Trial
  • Represent clients at settlement conferences and hearings
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of trial experience in litigation
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Maryland Family Law
  • Robust command of both verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated skills in trial litigation
  • Maryland state bar approved (required) and D.C. (preferred) The ideal candidate for this Family Law Associate position in Upper Marlboro, MD is required to have a minimum of 5 years of trial litigation experience, coupled with exceptional interpersonal communication skills. They must possess a thorough understanding of Maryland Family Law, and be proficient in both written and verbal communication during trial.
