Summary:

The Personal Assistant will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to one of our esteemed doctors. This part-time position requires a highly organized and adaptable individual who can work independently and is willing to travel primarily between Sacramento and Yuba City/Marysville with occasional travel to Chico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various tasks both personal and work-related.


Essential Functions:

· Provide personalized administrative support to the assigned doctor.

· Coordinate and ensure timely coffee/snacks/meals to align with the doctor's schedule.

· Manage and coordinate the doctor's personal schedule, appointments, and meetings

· Arrange and handle vehicle maintenance, grocery shopping, and feline veterinary appointments.

· Arrange and coordinate travel plans, accommodations, and conferences.

· Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the doctor.

· Organize and maintain files, records, and other essential documents.

· Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and communications.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Must be comfortable with cats.

· Reliable, punctual attendance.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative.

· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

· Upbeat and positive attitude.


Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proven experience as a personal or executive assistant.

· Willing and able to travel in personal vehicle between Sacramento and Yuba City/Marysville with occasional travel to Chico, as needed.

· Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative processes is a plus.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.


Physical Requirements/Typical Working Conditions:

Environment:

· Primarily a temperature-controlled facility and/or personal vehicle.

· Prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching.

· Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity for office equipment.

· Normal range of hearing and eyesight for communication.

· Occasional lifting of papers or boxes up to 30 pounds.

· NOTE: must not be allergic to cats AND must truly enjoy interacting with cats.


Essential Physical Tasks:

· Sight – sufficient for reading documents and computer monitor.

· Smell – sufficient to discern various odors.

· Hear – sufficient for face-to-face/telephone/video conversations and ambient noises.

· Touch – sufficient for operating office equipment and writing implements.

· Physical ability/strength – sufficient for operating a motor vehicle, lifting, turning, reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, walking, standing, and bending as needed.
