Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a UX Researcher to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of research methods including usability studies/interviews, and surveys which will align successfully in the organization.

User Researcher
18 Month Contract
100% Remote (PST hours)
$50/hour

As a design researcher on our team, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of researchers, designers, and engineers to drive customer feedback and research findings into future iterations of the product. Deliver actionable research findings to your counterparts on time and with quality, communicate, defend, and build consensus around your research and how it informs design. Document and present recommendations and point of view based on research and analysis as well as working with the supervising UX researchers or Manager in identifying and addressing critical UX issues.

• Key projects: This role will contribute to employ some research methodologies including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, UX benchmarks, interviews and surveys

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with designers, researchers, marketing professionals, statisticians, and other professionals.
  • Employ some research methodologies including moderated and unmoderated usability studies, UX benchmarks, interviews and surveys
  • Deliver actionable research findings to your counterparts on time and with quality

Skills:
  • Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
    • Minimum 2-3 years experience with Conducting usability studies and interviews
    • Minimum 2-3 years experience with research methods
    • Minimum 2-3 years experience with surveys
  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.

Education/Experience:
  • A minimum of a BA or MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
  • 2-4 years related experience required.
