We are currently seeking a Linux Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will design, develop, modify, integrate, and evaluate software for signals intelligence, radar, and communications systems.

What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team.  This position is located on-site at our facility in Fairfax, Virginia, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Melbourne, Florida and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities.  Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

 

The selected candidate will support the design, development, modification, and evaluation of signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems and related software systems in a cloud environment. The candidate will be instrumental in the engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing of products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include efforts related to cloud DevOps configuration, automation, and deployment.


Basic Requirements

- US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement

- Ability to obtain SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance, due to contract requirement

- BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent

- Minimum 3 years’ experience with ESXi 6+ and RHEL 6+.

 

Preferred Qualifications

- TS/SCI Clearance

- Strong code maintenance, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment with changing requirements.

- Experience with ESXi 6+, VirtualBox, VMware Player, Vagrant, HashiCorp Packer, Ansible

- Experience with Red Hat STIG Ansible role and its applications

- Experience developing and integrating custom Ansible roles and collections

- Understanding of the workflows and tools available to build custom Vagrant boxes

- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Jenkins.

- Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps practices is a plus

- Familiarity with Bash scripting

- Familiarity with Blade Center and Blade Server hardware configurations

- Familiarity with NetApp Filers and their configurations

- Familiarity with Dell Unity storage solutions and their configurations

- Familiarity with configuring networking in RHEL 6, 7, and 8

- Familiarity with networking concepts such as DHCP, static IPs, and routing

- Experience with SELinux and its configurations for various components within a system, e.g., SELinux rules for Apache
