Grantsburg, WI - Hourly Range 30-45hr
Job Brief
Develops computer numerically controlled programs for the manufacturing of complex precision machined parts. Facilitates the manufacturing process by disseminating contractual and T.D.P. requirements into the business systems and supports all technical requirements of contracted work.
Responsibilities
- Develops detailed manufacturing methods and/or complex machining programs
- Selects tooling and designs or supports fixturing needs
- Performs critical setup operations
- Supports Quality Planning activities
- Supports Estimating activities
- Supports aspects of process engineering
- Acts as Project Manager for assigned projects
- Implements and/or initiates process improvements and supports lean initiatives
- Ensure compliance to applicable solicitation and contractual requirements
- Helps train engineers, machinists and other employees as necessary
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience is required. Typical minimum experience: 5 to 7+ years.
- Proficient with the use of CAD/CAM systems
- 5-Axis Machine Experience Required
- Possess extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining techniques and tooling technologies.
- Possess “Hands on” experience in a machining environment.
- Knowledge of major aerospace and/or DOD manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices and procedures, including ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
- Knowledge of Government Contracting requirements.
