We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Finance to drive and oversee all financial activities of our organization. This role will be instrumental in developing and achieving short-term financial objectives, as well as leading the longer-term growth and profit strategy. The VP of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team and play a key role in shaping the financial future of our organization.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Drive company financial performance and profitability to achieve targets, including managing cash flow and working capital.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis to enhance performance and support decision-making.
  • Lead and manage the finance department, providing leadership and staff management.
  • Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, including internal and external statements, tax returns, and reports for governmental agencies.
  • Ensure financial systems meet the company's needs and lead financial plan preparation.
  • Analyze company operations to identify opportunities for growth, margin enhancement, and expense reduction.
  • Develop, lead, and communicate the strategic financial objectives of the organization, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Coordinate and prioritize financial planning with the CEO, Vice Presidents, and division leaders.
  • Study economic trends and project company prospects for future growth and expansion.
  • Identify and minimize financial risks and increase profitability.
  • Lead the annual financial audit and oversee cash management and AP Department.
  • Preserve the organization's assets and manage risk.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • C.P.A. or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to lead database and accounting computer application systems.
  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in leading strategic planning and execution.
