Responsibilities of the VP of Human Resources:

  • Provide high-quality and responsive support to local partners, management, and employees on all employee-related matters.
  • Capacity to effectively oversee both local and not local employees
  • Manage total rewards, including compensation and benefits, across the platform.
  • Ensure HR compliance metrics align with federal, state, and company standards.
  • Oversee the integration and acquisition transitions and training processes.
  • Manage the health and 401k plans.
  • Optimize annual open enrollment and total rewards processes.
  • Implement and optimize all HCM systems to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
  • Lead workforce planning in collaboration with corporate finance and recruiting teams.
  • Collaborate on HR-related compliance issues, lawsuits, and employee complaints.
  • Partner with Compliance Counsel to ensure HR and safety compliance through the system.
  • Execute an employee performance review plan including infrastructure for employee calibrations, leveling, and promotion opportunities.
  • Foster a best-in-class culture.
  • Manage the HRIS team, benefits team, and future people analytics team.


Requirements for the VP of Human Resources:

  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • SHRM Certified
  • 5+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in a PE required.
  • Experience with M&A's required
  • Experience with roll-ups required
  • Experience in both union and nonunion environments is advantageous.
  • Expertise in scaling operations to align with growth strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of compliance requirements at both the Federal and all State levels.
  • Hands-on experience in building HCMs and other people-related infrastructure.
  • Accountable and responsive to Partner needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach and a strong "doer" mindset in professional endeavors.
  • Professional Human Resources Certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with UKG is a must and implementation experience with the platform is ideal.
  • Ideal candidate lives in PA/NJ/NY
