FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC-WEST SALEM AREA

Based out of our West Salem branch, Technicians are needed to service our customers in the La Crosse area. At Wolter we’re on a mission to move, store, and power the world more efficiently. We are currently offering a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified Field Technicians!

Field Service Technicians are responsible for traveling to our customers' locations and repairing their powered industrial equipment, such as forklift trucks, aerial equipment, floor cleaning equipment, etc., to include all types of gas, diesel, LP Gas, or electric trucks. Technicians are dispatched to service customers closest to the area in which they live. Technicians are provided with a company service van, service laptop, iPad, credit card, and cell phone. We have internal support staff to assist, as well as free in-house technical training, and in-the-field technical support!

A qualified candidate will have experience in heavy equipment repair, preferably forklifts, construction equipment, or farm equipment. Requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical problems. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds, and rarely up to 100 pounds. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must have your own tools, good customer service skills and be dependable. Trade school or secondary education a huge plus.
