Job Description

Are you passionate about working in the field of Private Practice Therapy instead of Community Agency therapy?

Do you have the enthusiasm to help people, particularly those suffering from trauma?

Are you eager to utilize cutting-edge brain-based therapies?

Are you willing to work late afternoons/evenings and Saturdays?

If so, this role is perfect for you! The Center for NeuroPotential boasts an evidence-based, trauma-focused therapy and neurofeedback approach. This part-time job requires overseeing a caseload and providing neurofeedback services. This includes primarily in person sessions and some telehealth opportunities. The Center has established a respected status, making it a preferred destination for healthcare providers and mental health professionals across the United States.

Our patients have the motivation to heal; they are carefully assessed on the phone to make sure both parties are compatible. This makes sure there is a high rate of successful treatment, helping clinicians to effectively treat and discharge patients. This is not a fast-paced job. We are in search of a committed practitioner who believes the Center for NeuroPotential will be a long-term workplace for their career progress.

We provide:

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Clinical direction in achieving licensure
  • Low-pressure atmosphere for delivering treatment
  • Advertising to attract targeted clients for consistent referrals
  • Administrative assistance for appointments, phone calls, billing, and credentialing
  • Flexible hours
  • Job fulfillment and professional growth commitment
Compensation:

$30 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual counseling with a primary focus on addressing trauma-related issues
  • Monitor and track the progress of patients undergoing neurofeedback treatment
  • Conduct intake and assessment of individuals seeking neurofeedback therapy
  • Conduct therapy sessions for individuals dealing with PTSD, depression, and anxiety
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation is maintained
  • Engage in clinical consultation, participate in Neurofeedback clinical rounds, and attend educational training sessions
  • Enhance knowledge and skills in combining neurofeedback with EMDR and other therapeutic approaches
  • Demonstrate punctuality, consistency, and organizational skills in job performance
Qualifications:
  • Must possess an Associate-level license in psychotherapy in the state of Connecticut, such as LMSW or LPCA
  • Required to have training in EMDR or other trauma-focused therapies, or agree to receive training
  • Must adhere to ethical standards in the field
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Should be familiar with utilizing an Electronic Health Record, and be capable of documenting quickly
  • Demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative team
  • Open to developing and expanding their clinical practice
  • Must demonstrate the ability to accommodate changing clinical requirements
  • Available to work later afternoons, early evenings and Saturdays
