Facility CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:
The Facility CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant is a Full Time position within Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu and is responsible for providing quality in-home care and assisting in the overall care and well-being of our elderly clients. The Facility CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping and will create a positive experience for our seniors in their own homes.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Facility CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant will be offered a hourly rate of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (paid weekly). The Facility CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant will also receive access to a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
• Provide quality in-home care and assistance in the overall care of elderly clients.
• Assist with basic patient care including bathing, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide timely reports and updates on patient’s wellbeing, condition and progress to the facility manager and caregiver.
• Ensure all safety and infection control protocols are followed.
• Respond in a timely manner to patient’s medical/emotional needs.
• Document all information relating to patient care, including notes, observations, reports and timesheets.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a CNA or Certified Nursing Assistant in a healthcare/medical setting.
• Current certification and credentials.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable record.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• A passion for providing quality care to the elderly.
