Summary/Objective

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the preventative maintenance management of our company's fleet of vehicles ,management of warranty and parts;

. As the Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring record keeping, safety, reliability, and efficiency of our vehicles, ranging from trucks to cars and heavy equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet maintenance program, including preventive maintenance schedules and repair procedures.

• Budget Management: Manage the fleet maintenance budget effectively, optimizing costs while maintaining high standards of service.

• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of all fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards to include preventative measurement plan.

• Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with external service providers, negotiate contracts, and oversee outsourced maintenance work.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including costs, service history, and compliance documentation.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all fleet operations adhere to safety regulations and implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Emergency Response: Develop and execute contingency plans for vehicle breakdowns and emergencies to minimize disruptions.

Competencies

- Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field

- Proven experience in fleet management, managing preventative maintenance plans of at least 3 years

- Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in fleet management software and tools.

- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Budget management experience is a plus.

- Experience with CDK software is a plus
