Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (Controller) is a key executive role, reporting directly to the President of the Company. This position is pivotal in steering the financial helm of the company, ensuring fiscal health and guiding strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management: Oversee the company's financial operations, including capital investments, cash flow, profitability, and financial reporting. Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.

  2. Budget Process Management: Lead the budgeting process, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective allocation of resources. Monitor budget compliance and provide strategic insights to optimize financial performance.

  3. Accounting and Cost Management: Manage all aspects of accounting, including auditing, to maintain and enhance the company's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance. Implement cost-saving measures and enhance financial efficiency across departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the finance sector.
  • Proven expertise in accounting and auditing, with a strong ability to manage P&L.
  • Comprehensive understanding of credit and risk management. This includes proficiency in handling commercial insurance and a successful track record in collections oversight.
  • A strong passion for contributing to the growth and success of a family-owned, privately-operated business.
