Liberty Sheds, founded in 2006, is located in Mocksville, NC. We are a premier shed company that creates custom designed sheds and outdoor building solutions for our customers. We are growing and ready to expand our team! We will be opening our new 85,000 square foot facility in February and would love to receive your application for our Production Line Builder opening.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Line Builder works in a manufacturing production line environment and is responsible for performing specific tasks to produce portable buildings. Specific qualities will be required from the Production Line Builder and are as follows:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Physical Stamina: Line production work often involves repetitive tasks that require standing or moving for extended periods. Therefore, having physical stamina and being able to perform tasks consistently and efficiently is essential.

Attention to Detail: Production Line Builders will be required to pay close attention to detail to ensure that products are assembled or manufactured correctly. They must follow instructions precisely, adhere to quality control standards, and identify any defects or errors in the production process.

Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are crucial for line production workers. They need to operate machinery, handle small components, or perform intricate tasks that require precision and skill.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Production Line work involves working as part of a team. Being able to communicate effectively, collaborate with colleagues, and coordinate tasks is important for maintaining a smooth and efficient production line.

Time Management: Production Line Builders will be assigned specific tasks that need to be completed within a given timeframe. Being able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet production deadlines is essential.

REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated experience in bay construction or a related field, with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Patient and approachable leadership style, with the ability to coach and train team members to enhance their skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
Proficiency in using Google Suite and industry-specific software to manage project documentation and track progress.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

REPORTING

Update Plant Software regularly during the day as to the status of buildings in progress.

The Bay Builder Supervisor will report directly to the Plant Manager, providing regular updates on the status of bay construction projects, team performance, and any relevant issues or concerns.
