We opened the first Fat Boy's Pizza in Metairie, Louisiana in March 2019. Since then, we have been slinging slices and smiles to hungry guests of all ages. Position Summary

The Bartender position is also one of our most important guest facing positions. Our bar guests are here to relax and enjoy socializing with others while soaking up the Fat Boy's atmosphere. We pride ourselves on delivering top notch food, house made daiquiris, along with creative beer and wine selections and attentive friendly service to our guests. This position is for people who are outgoing, welcoming, enjoy interacting with the general public, and possess good knowledge of mixology. Bartenders at Fat Boy's need to have mastered Cashier/Runner and Expo before training for the Bar.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders, be knowledgeable about dining options, ring in orders and take payments on POS system, in-restaurant and over the phone.
• Be knowledgeable about alcoholic beverages served at Fat Boy's including our specialty cocktails and daiquiris, and beer and wine selections
• Serve alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner.
• Explain "how it works" at Fat Boy's - where the fountain drinks, napkins and condiments are located, how to find a table and display the order number card, talk about the pizza display case and what the popular options are starting with slices.
• Bring food to bar guests and tables and place in front of guests, offer to help with any other needs.
• Bus and clean bar top and tables as guests finish dining.
• Set up and utilize 3 compartment sink for washing and sanitizing glassware.
• Opening and closing duties before restaurant opens and after it closes.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

• Must be able to interact in a positive, friendly manner with others.
• Must be driven to strive to succeed and grow with Fat Boy's Pizza.
• Must be able to be relied upon for a strong effort.
• Previous experience in the restaurant work environment, working with a POS system is helpful, but not critical - we can teach you!

• Walk and carry objects less than 10 Lbs.
• Occasionally lift objects up to 30 Lbs.
• This is a work on location position, work from home not available.

Compensation

• Starting base pay range is $8.00 to $10.00 / hour plus tips (generally $4.00 to $7.00 / hour).

Vacation

• Eligible for one week of paid vacation after one year of full time employment.
