Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Department: IT

Location: Corporate

Summary:

The primary contribution of the IT Support Specialist is to provide technical support to all users.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following list of duties and responsibilities are examples of the work that potential candidates will be asked to perform. Candidates may not be involved with all these functions as a regular part of their duties.

1. Act as first response to user issues both in-person and remotely, utilizing company Help Desk ticket system to track, troubleshoot, resolve issues, and escalating when necessary

2. Apply updates and solutions to desktops and applications

3. Perform maintenance on laptops, printers, other devices, and peripherals

4. Provide support to conference room devices, assist in set up of webcasts, conference calls, and presentations

5. Maintain VoIP phone system (Microsoft Teams phone)

6. Assist in IT onboarding of new employees including preparation laptops and installing of software

7. Create documentation (user guides) for common errors, functions, and applications

8. Track inventory of company devices and manage IT supply room


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

2. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
