The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the CO sits on the Executive Team and provides strategic and direct leadership for the financial activities of Black Butte Ranch Association (BBRA) and Black Butte Ranch Corporation (BBRC). Specific responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and presenting fiscal year operating and capital budgets; engaging regularly with the Board of Directors, Finance Committee, Executive Team, and vendors; establishing and interpreting financial systems and controls to achieve accurate and timely reporting across all companies; risk management through strategic insurance renewals for non-employee-benefit lines of coverage; and ensuring full compliance with all regulations and internal policies.

Our ideal candidate leads with collaboration, transparency, and a positive approach to developing teams, holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, has at least 7 years of relevant experience at the executive level with resorts and/or HOA accounting, is an excellent communicator with strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, and can deliver under tight deadlines while managing competing priorities.

The Details

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that requires working onsite. Salary is from $150,000/yr based on skills and experience. The CFO has direct responsibility for the following departments: Accounting, IT, and Post Office.
