General Labor- Lumber - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a General Labor position with an Established Family Owned Hardware and Lumber Company. This is a temp to hire position and will pay $13.00 per hour. The hours are M-F from 7:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.

Responsibilities:

• Load daily orders on delivery trucks using dolly or mostly by hand
• Help unload trucks at worksites using dolly or mostly by hand
• Will be working heavily with sheet rock
• Adhere closely to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices- Safety is a must!
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Capable of heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Capable of bending, stooping, and climbing
• Capable of working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• Capable of working in a dusty environment
• Able to pay attention to details
• Motivated and able to multitask in a fast paced environment at times
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steel Toed Boots
