Job Description
Job Summary
The Environmental Lead Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department. Duties include overseeing environmental inspections, new employee training, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory. Additionally, the Environmental Lead Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function, quality initiatives, and financial aspects of Environmental Services.
Essential Functions
• Moves through the facility, appropriately assists in emergency drills and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver services, as assigned.
• Provides leadership and manages the fiscal, quality and human resources functions of Environmental Services.
• Works cooperatively with staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
• Performs all tasks and duties of this position according to the hospital and department policies and procedures while meeting regulatory agency requirements.
• Demonstrates a commitment to Pomerene Hospital's Values.
• Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction.
• Maintains an environment in the hospital that is clean, welcoming and conducive to patient and family visitation.
Education
High School Diploma/GED-Required
Experience
2 Years Management/Supervision/Leadership Preferred
