Job Description
Job Summary
Engineer’s perform electrical design work across various power systems and
stations for power generation, transmission, and distribution applications. They will
work with our Engineering, Project Management and Fabrication department to ensure
our designs meets the specifications of the customer.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design AC and DC schematics and wiring diagrams for relay panels and control enclosures used in various electrical systems in the power industry.
- Ensure drawings conform to the highest industry standards of quality.
- Review subcontractor designs for accuracy.
- Provide technical expertise for customers, project management, and fabrication.
- Inspect product to ensure conformance to customer and design requirements.
- Work with and contribute to the functional testing team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable engineering degree or experience.
- 5 years of experience in power systems design.
- Understanding of basic relaying protection schemes.
- Proficient in Office programs and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of CAD programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.
